On May 14, Mayor Thomas M. Menino announced the 2013 Greenovate Boston Award winners at Boston University’s Center for Student Services. There were 18 award winners in total including 13 business, three residential and two sustainable food leaders. These winners were selected for their impressive sustainability achievements and commitment to greenovating Boston.

Congratulations to all the award winners and to Greenovate Boston for a successful launch. Worker/Owner James was on hand to support the Mayor in his green business and cycling initiatives. BCD is proud to be working with Mayor Menino’s Boston Bikes program. We have been putting our cargo bike to work for the City and helping reduce emissions and traffic!

At the end of the 2011 East Coast Messenger Stage Race we had the opportunity to tour the National Mall in D.C. It so happend that they had recently opened the Martin Luther King Jr Memorial and we were able to take some snapshots. Today BCD caught up with the Lexicon of sustainability over at the Thursday night farmers market in Union Sq Somerville, one of our favorite hangouts outside of Boston. While we were picking up a loaf of bread and cheese, our attention was drawn to a pop up installation about sustainability. Check out what its all about and their event schedule here. Boston Collective Delivery is not only dedicated to helping your company succeed and meet its deadlines. We have organized out of a need to secure a livable wage that provides the basic benefits that will allow us to conduct our business in a safe and efficient manner.We look forward to growing Boston Collective Delivery not just to be a benefit to the businesses and individuals who work with us but to the community as a whole.
